Former AC/DC Drummer Joins DAMAGE CONTROL
January 4, 2006Former AC/DC/ASIA drummer Chris Slade has joined DAMAGE CONTROL, the new band featuring UFO/WAYSTED bassist Pete Way and Robin George. Slade will be joining Pete and Robin in the studio to work on DAMAGE CONTROL's debut album, "Raw", tentatively due later in the year. Several mixes from the forthcoming CD are available for preview at PeteWay.net.
As previously reported, Pete Way's official web site has been updated with audio interviews with Pete and George about DAMAGE CONTROL. Way also talks about the current status of UFO and WAYSTED, bringing drummer Andy Parker back into UFO, the new UFO CD/DVD release "Showtime" and the "Strangers in the Night Critical Review" DVD. Robin also discusses the mixing process for the WAYSTED CD "Back from the Dead" and his past work with such artists as Robert Plant and Phil Lynott. Download the interviews at www.peteway.net.
